Born and raised in Houston, TX, I moved to Dallas when I was 18 to attend Southern Methodist University. I graduated with honors from the SMU Cox School of Business in 2005 with a degree in Finance and a minor in Psychology.
After college, I was selected to attend Countrywide University, a comprehensive mortgage training program from Countrywide Home Loans. There I was given the foundation of knowledge that has helped shape my career over the last 6 years. I gained valuable experience in underwriting, processing, and originating, working in both wholesale and retail for Countrywide and Bank of America, where I won several Pinnacle Club and Platinum Producer awards. In early 2009, I was offered a position here in Austin originating mortgage loans for a local broker. Moving to Austin from Dallas was a no-brainer decision for me. Despite all of the crazy ups and downs in our industry over the last several years, I still love what I do. I get to meet and interact with people from all walks of life.
